What's Your "Status"?

Now you can add your "Status" on how you are feeling or what you're up to. Just go to your "Edit Profile" page and add your "Status". Your "Status" allows others to see your current mood or goals. You can change it as many times as you like.

Darting Dragonfly

There are now battle-ready Darting Dragonflies found in Pepper Forest. If you capture one you can use it during battle. Just release it during your battle turn and it will distract your opponent for one battle turn.

10 new monsters have been spotted in Sipping Trails! These guys are tuff! Their average HP is 400-500 and their ATK is between 200-250. Yikes!

A new Pixy Pet has been found in Sugar Hills! The "Hubbly Wub" is a kind and friendly creature that loves to eat cupcakes. They also love to go on quests. To capture one, use a toy or treat from the Sugar Hills Toy Store.

Elliotts' Sureshot Potion Shop is Open In Sipping Trails!

Elliotts' Sureshot Potion Shop in Sipping Trails has new potions to help you win battles! When used, they give your attack power a boost. A Regular Sureshot Potions gives you a minimum of 50% attack power during one battle turn. A Super Sureshot Potions gives you a minimum of 75% attack power and finally, a Mega Sureshot Potions gives you 100% attack power. Wow!

Cheer for your Pixy Pals

Help encourage your Pixy friends who are in a battle session by cheering them on! Now when a user is in a battle session you will see "Cheer for [User]!" on the Users Online page. Clicking the link will let them know you're cheering for them! What a great way to show your support!

Notifications now have an alert sound. Now you will hear a chime sound when you receive a new message. To hear the chime you will need to enable your browser to allow sounds from Pixypods.com. See the image above.

Item Donations

Have some extra items laying around that you'd like to share with your pixy friends? Now you can send items to other users using the "Donate" feature. Just select "Donate" in the items options and enter the username of the account you want to share with. They will receive the item and a friendly message alerting them of their newly gifted item. Yay!

Susannas' Magic Powder Shop

A new shop has opened in Sugar Hills, "Susannas' Magic Powder Shop"! Each of her magic powders has its own benefit and its effect will last for one battle session. Here is the breakdown:

Life Powder - Adds +5 HP each turn during one battle session.
Protection Powder - Adds 25% more defence during one battle session.
Remedy Powder - Protects against poisoning during one battle session.
Thawing Powder - Protects against freezing during one battle session.
Focus Powder - Protects against confusion during one battle session.

Shop Upgrade

We've made a simple upgrade to Shop Inventory that should be very insightful to players. Now you can see the items +HP (Healing Items), +ATK (Weapons), +DEF (Shields and Protection Items), +Food Points (Food), and +Knowledge (Books) when browsing shops. Cool huh?

New Battle Upgrades

It's battle upgrade time! Now when you encounter a monster while on a quest you will see a list of their abilities (if any). Look for the following ability types when battling.
Confusion = Causes you to deal damage to your pixypet
Poison = Causes HP to decrease 10% each turn
Freeze = Lowers your ATK to only 5%
Burn = Causes HP to decrease 15% each turn
Paralyze = Limits ATK to a maximum of 25%

Pixy Pet Leader Boards

We have just the thing to bring out some healthy competition to the game. We have added a leader board to the Pixy Pet Dashboard which will rank players based on three categories. Top Players (based on Pixy Pet level), Top Wins (based on successful quest battles won), and Top Total Quests (total quests completed). Let's see you on the board!

Now Pixy Pets Heal Over Time

We love suggestions from our players. And to prove it, one of our players asked if Pixy Pets could regenerate HP over time. 🙂 Sure they can! Now they will gain 10 HP every 10 minutes.

New Item from Ryans' Armory Shop

I've got some good news from Powder Mountain! The blacksmiths have been working hard to add new weapons and shields to Ryans' Armory Shop. The first completed item is a "Golden Pixy Shield" available for purchase now. It's a strong shield that offers great protection at +20 DEF.

A new item is available in Ryans' Armory Shop. It's... well, an old wooden shield. Not very impressive by any means and it only gives you a +5 defense. Hmm... I guess you have to start somewhere. Luckily there will be more durable shields in the near future. Keep an eye on Ryans Shop for new items coming soon!

Quest Battle Upgrades

For those of you who are new to battle, it can sometimes be challenging battling monsters. With no way out it can be risky. Now, with some new battle upgrades, you can use healing items during a battle. This helps out a ton and makes battling a bit easier. Good luck and keep up the good fight!
